Avocados are very good for you. They are boasting all kinds of nutritional benefits like high fiber, high potassium, and healthy fats.

In a 50g serving of a Hass avocado, the nutrition is:

WHEN IS AN AVOCADO RIPE?

Look for an avocado’s skin to turn from green to dark green, almost black. Also, check the firmness of an avocado by pressing against it firmly with your pointer finger. HOW TO COOK WITH AVOCADO?

Avocados are mostly used raw. Although you can bake or grill them, we suggest using them raw when they’re perfectly ripe.  Peel and remove the pit. You can mash it and add lime and cilantro for a simple guac. You can spread it on a piece of toast. You can cube it and use it in a green smoothie. Or just add slices to a salad or sandwich!
